How to Pay by Paypal.
Payment can be via Paypal and my email associated with my Paypal account is:alicemason367@hotmail.com. To send money through Paypal, log in to your Paypal account, click on Send Money, fill in my email address in the ‘To’ box, (alicemason367@hotmail.com).. Fill in the amount, £20, check the ‘I’m sending money to family or friends’ button.. So simple. And then your booking will be secured. Once you have paid, Paypal automatically sends me an email to let me know you have paid. It also will send you an email for your records. I will mark your booking as paid for. Also this way you automatically have a record of your payment, and you can print this off as a receipt for your records, and if you need a further receipt I can email you one to print off, or give you a paper receipt on the day of the craft fair. If you don’t have Paypal, it is so easy to set up. Go to http://www.paypal.com and follow the instructions. It is so simple. If you prefer, you can send money via internet banking, (I will give you my bank details,) you can even call your bank and instruct them to transfer the money, £20, or you can send a cheque, (I will give you my address.)
Put simply, email me the date(s) you would like to do, I will put your name down, and you can send Paypal payment of £20 in advance of the fair, or if you cannot open a Paypal account for any reason, just email me the dates you would like to do and pay £20 cash on the day.
Dates for the rest of 2014
15th November, 6th December and 20th December 2014.
I do a lot of promoting, signs, social networking, boosting posts on facebook which reaches a targeted audience of several thousand.
The Rye Arts and Crafts Fair is for hand-crafted arts and crafts by the stall holder. We occasionally allow crafts made by others if they are of excellent quality, or for a charity or worthy cause, but we prefer hand-crafted, artisan made crafts, and not imported items. Emphasis is on crafts made by you, the stall holder. Thank you for your understanding.
Stalls are in the main hall, on the stage, in the foyer, and even sometimes outside on a lovely day. The tables are already set up for you with your name on, and tables are six ft by 2 ft. Please bring along a table cloth and anything that enables you to showcase your work as attractively as possible.
The Fair starts at 11am and finishes at 5pm. Entry is free and there is a lovely cafe with inexpensive and delicious home-made healthy food. There are all sorts of amazing hand-made arts and crafts by local artists and makers and also some vintage objects and clothes.
Artists/makers can arrive from 9 am am to set up. Please do not arrive any earlier than 9 am as need time to put name labels on the tables. All tables are allocated with your name on, or it is occasionally first-come-first-served if there are not many bookings..
Craft Fair Etiquette. Please do not leave early than 5pm. This is because other stall holders and I feel this detracts from the over-all look and feel of the fair. Many customers can arrive late in the day, and purchase items. Sometimes just before five pm can even be our busiest time.
Please always pre-book via email, and I will see which dates are free.
It is a lovely and friendly fair with music playing quietly. All the tables are already set up for you. Tables are approximately 6ft by 2 ft long.
When making a booking for a particular date, please make it a commitment and mark it in your diary.
Parking
There is parking outside for unloading and some space for all day parking, but if there is no more room, unload first and you can park in the Grove down the road or in Love Lane by Rye College. Also there is a car park down the road by Rope Walk Arcade which is only £1.50 for all day. After unloading, please don’t just leave your car outside the hall unless it is in a designated parking space. The Rye Community Centre is on Conduit Hill and the post code is TN31 7LE. You can easily find this on Google maps if you type the postcode in. Conduit Hill is a cobbled street leading up to the High Street and it is right in the centre of Rye. I always put signs and posters all over, and signs on approach roads into Rye. As it is a twice monthly event, people know where we are. It is a fun and lively event.
Please ‘like’ us on Facebook for more updates and insights. Link is at bottom right hand side of this page.
Tables are about six foot long and 2 ft wide and are already in place. Do bring anything along that enables you to showcase your work to the best effect. There is power and many outlets for small lamps/fairy lights.
